Sticky Fingers

I recently went to this awesome place for dinner with a couple of friends. Sticky Fingers is in Observatory, Cape Town and they have the most amazing burgers, ribs, and whatever junk food you can think of. I had the Texan Burger which was an extremely huge burger with cheese and fat onion rings. I could hardly get my whole mouth around it! Andrew had a burger with camembert and cranberry sauce. Uber yum!! We went halvies so that we could each try something different. I even saw a burger on the menu with peanut butter! I kid you not! It is definitely a place that you should at least try once!

For the Love of Wedges

This weekend Andrew spoilt me by taking me shopping. I ended up with some pretty little clothing items, but most importantly I ended up with uber stylish wedges...

My holiday that I took roughly two weeks ago was fabulous! I did not get the chance to show you some pictures of the place we stayed in, but here they are now...

Hope you enjoyed a little walk through of the place. It was fabulous, comfy and very relaxing. Exactly what a holiday should be. There were family tiffs here and there - but what is a family without some sort of conflict. Overall it was amazing to just get away from the realities of life and just be a bum.

Should definitely do more of this!!!

The weekend awaits...

I am super excited for this weekend because I finally have something to look forward to other than my dauting thesis (which is now much less dauting than before) and my part-time job. bleh! So totally over those monotonous rituals that have been consuming my life!

So my dad has gotten these amazing vouchers that we have now used to book a fabulous weekend away at some penthouse apartment called Knightsbridge. It's literally half an hours drive from where I stay so its hardly a weekend "away" but anytime off right now is much needed! According to the information about this place that I have looked up on the internet they have a spa, gym, swimming pool and jacuzzi! So I am obviously gonna be such a bum all day and take advantage of all these amazing privileges that I would never really get a chance to enjoy :)

Wardrobe Lover

One of my all time favourite clothing stores is this lovely shop in Vineyard Road in Cavendish called Wardrobe. This place has the cutest dresses, the most amazing reworked vintage pieces, and unique items of jewellery and accessories. I absolutely LOVE browsing at the pretty items of clothing and even at the decor that makes this shop so interesting and one of a kind.
I especially went and found some pics of the shop and clothing so that I could whet your appetite and further tempt you all in getting your asses over there and improving your style! You can thank me later ;)

I heart L.C.

One of the people that are most inspiring to me when it comes to fashion is Lauren Conrad (L.C) from Laguna Beach & The Hills. I have always had this strange connection with her ever since I first watched her shows & I loved her ever since! Except for when she was totally O.T.T obsessed with Stephen (in Laguna Beach) and ditched furthering her career for Jason (in The Hills). Both those times I wanted to slap her.
But I guess we all make mistakes and learn from them, as she clearly has. She now has a successful book line as well as fashion line and, well, her fashion sense is just so effortlessly chic that I just want to DIE of jealously! Why was I not given this gift?!
So here she is for all of you to enjoy and get some great fashion ideas from for a relaxed and simple chic look.
